The Matchcover Storyteller

A 20-strike, front strike match cover for the 1955 movie “Cinerama Holiday”.

Like all the original Cinerama movies, it featured spectacle and excitement As we followed John and Betty Marsh to places like Davos, Switzerland, Paris, and even an early Las Vegas.

The movie wound up being the highest grossing film of 1955 beating out such a notables as Mr. Roberts, Battle Cry & Oklahoma!

Note that this particular cover is for the Century Theater in Minneapolis; I wonder how many theatres across America put this out! (as in, for collectors, how many are out there?)
