One simple pink 20-strike matchcover. Not much to it.
“Jorge Arrendondo’s Family Recipe” is all it says

It was a Mexican restaurant in Austin, Texas, opening in 1973 and eventually becoming synonymous with Mexican food for Sunday breakfast. It seems to have also gone by the name “Casita Jorge’s” and by the mid-70’s you’d find patrons waiting on the street for a table.
Arrendondo started out small in east Austin and he eventually had several restaurants in the area. The watchword was “Come in and eat.” And the place was known for its enchiladas and margaritas. Patrons included the well-known of the Austin area and included the likes of Chuck Norris and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Arrendondo was listed on the menu as “chief cook and pearl diver”. The empire dwindled over time; some were sold. Casita Jorge closed in December 2012.
Jorge Arrendondo died in 2020, age 87.
I mentioned “one pink matchcover” — I found a blue one too and that makes me think there’s a multi-coloured set out there waiting to be completed, and added to Texas, Mexican Restaurants,. Sets and, well, maybe a category I’m overlooking right now! (I know you’ll tell me in comments….)
