Welcome to a brand new blog! I was persuaded by a friend that i should try this. We haven’t gone anywhere yet, but there are some good trips coming up -to southern Virginia, Oklahoma, southern Illinois and places between.  The nice thing is that as someone once said, it’s the journey not the destination – although my destinations are pretty good! But it is also the journey itself, between here and there, that we’ll see some good stuff.   So come along for the ride – whether it’s in my head or out on the highway…This is the bridge to nowhere, US Highway 219 S., between Buffalo and Salamanca New York – so called because this is where the four-lane portion ends. Not much more to it than that! But someone has been thoughtful enough to post a large sign naming it so, as you leave it and continue south on the 2-lane 219.
